Thank you, everyone, for your well-wishes for my birthday!!! In the morning we went to church, and Abigail and I got to wear our new mother-daughter dresses, which was so much fun. 
After church, we all went to Applebee's for dinner, where I got to eat my favorite Three Cheese Chicken Penne. After dinner, we came home for the happy birthday song, ice cream cake, and birthday presents.
The "twist" of my post-title is this...I woke up yesterday with another ovarian cyst causing much pain, so I hopped up on pain meds, gritted my teeth, and put my game-face on...but then after our festivities, my in-laws left for my brother-in-law's house, and I went to sleep on the couch and stayed there the rest of the day!
We always do things with dramatic flair, even on my birthday!!! :)
