More lavender harvested

Tonight I harvested my white lavender...the blooms are silvery white and the stems are much longer than traditional lavender. I also got a small handful of secondary buds from my purple lavender. Forgive the unattractive setting of this picture, but it's late and I'm ready for my hot fudge sundae and bedtime! Mom, if you thought we had fun weaving the other stems, just wait until these babies dry -- that is a 12-inch ruler next to the stems!!!

I wish lavender would grow up here. But even if it did, you can bet it wouldn't grow in my garden. Though my bearded iris are actually picture worthy this year.
