Family vacation in Florida...fun moments

Our week was full of lots of fun moments, mostly around the house (which is how we like our vacations to be -- home and restful!).  The kids stayed busy playing together in the yard, doing projects and going fishing with Grandpa, and watching the ongoing pool construction.  They were filthy, sweaty, and thoroughly happy by the end of every day!  Bruce worked (so nice that he can telecommute), napped, watched golf on television, and sat to chat with the rest of us.  My mom and I fed and cleaned up after the clan, sat in the sun, sewed, and did some fix-up projects around the house (see her blog for more pictures of that, too!).
Abigail enjoyed a playdate with her "Florida-friend"
(whoops, shouldn't have made them squint into the sun!)
The kids fed the resident sandhill crane right out front one morning
My dad and Abigail on their way to the pond for some fishing
The kids in the pool...next time we go, it'll be swim-ready!

Too bad the scheduling didn't work out for you to be swimming while you were here but we made the most of our time, didn't we?!
