The long-awaited day has arrived.
Today I am 30!
As I reflect on these thirty years
(or at least as much of them as I have concious memory of!),
one phrase keeps coming to mind:
"He who promised is faithful."
(Hebrews 10:23)
God has been so good to me --
He has filled my life with so many blessings
and lovingly carried me through so many difficult waters.
Before I know it, I'll be reflecting on another thirty years,
and it is good to know that His faithfulness will not change!

I keep this blog so that anyone who wants to

However, today I make a request for myself!

Thanks for humoring me...
It is, after all, my birthday! :-)

To my wonderful wife on her birthday. Although you may think you have finally reached adulthood by breaking into the 30s, you'll always be a spring chicken to me :) After almost 9 years of marriage, I continue to be amazed and ever more grateful to the Lord for His wonderful gift of bringing us together. You are the best wife I have ever had. In truth, you are the best wife I ever could have had. Happy Birthday. I love you.
Love,
Bruce
Happy Birthday Marsel!!!! You and your family are so special to me, and I am privileged to know you!! ~RaDora
Happy Birthday Marsel!! I'm a frequent visitor to your blog and I love keeping connected to you guys this way. Didn't realize you love Hoffmans so much. I'll think of you now everytime I have one. Love, Sarah
Marsel, you have been such a dear friend to me. Your sweet spirit is always such an encouragement. I hope your day is wonderful!
I have wonderful memories of this day for the last 30 years, too, what a blessing was delivered to me at 11:02am; little did I know of the days the Lord would unfold for me through you-I love you, Mom
Thirty years ago today I was called out of my third grade class to go to the office. Lucky for me it was to take a phone call from my Mom, your Grandma, letting me know that I had become an aunt through your arrival! It has been such a blessing to have you in my life. You may live far south of me, but you’re always close in my heart!
Love you, Aunt Con
Happy Birthday! Welcome to the 30-year-old club! You may be appalled to learn that I'm not a big "hoffmann's" fan (even tho the rest of my family is)! What everyone else loves is actually what I dislike - that snappy outside layer. Oh well! :) You and I have lots of great memories of our friendship over the years together, and I'm very happy that we still keep in touch today even tho we are many miles apart. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Love,
Shannon
Sorry I missed your actual day...we were in Green Bay SHOPPING!!! Hope you had a great 30th birthday! Now you have an excuse for feeling so old! I totally understand the hot dog thing...Michigan makes a brand called Koegels...there's not another hot dog anywhere as good...except maybe your New York brand of course! :0)
