Variations on braids

The title of this post is the unofficial theme of our home when "the girls" come to stay!  All of the girls love to have braids, and Sunday morning they wanted matching ones.  How fun is this?!

Monday after schooltime we met Karen and Noah at a local park for a picnic lunch and playground-time.

 

 (David was there, too, but he didn't hold still much!)

Monday afternoon we went home in time to scrub everyone clean and get dinner on the table, and then the girls were thrilled to go home to their mom and dad and life settled back into its normal routine...or as "normal" as it ever gets around here, anyway! :)
